Public transport to ski resortsNight trains run to Rovaniemi, Kolari and Kemijärvi. Hop on a bus, taxi or a rental car for to reach your final destination. You can also take your car along on your night train journey.
Train is the greenest choice for travel to the North
Train is the most environmentally friendly means of travelling. You can travel by train from Helsinki to Rovaniemi and back 50 times, whereas the same amount of emissions is produced during only one round trip by car.
Cabins
You can choose either a 2-person cabin on the lower floor, a 2-person cabin with a shower on the upper floor, or a nostalgic 3-person cabin.

Cancellation insurance gives you peace of mind if your travel plans are not yet fixed. Thanks to cancellation insurance, you can cancel your train ticket or entire cabin and get back the price of your journey if your plans change. Vehicles are covered by their own cancellation insurance.

No discounts are applicable to night train cabins. Children, students, pensioners and conscripts are eligible for a discount on other long-distance train tickets. Persons travelling with a visually impaired or a disabled person may travel for free with an assistant’s ticket.

Accessible travel on a night train
All night trains have accessible sleeper cabins which are located close to the car’s accessible entrance door. Accessible toilets are also located by the entrance. Guide, assistance or hearing dogs and pets travel with you free of charge.
