How spring holidays affect our timetables

The spring public holidays change our traffic operations slightly.

The spring public holidays bring some adjustments to our traffic operations. The up-to-date information is always easily available on vr.fi or the VR Matkalla mobile app.

Disruption date traffic

Long-distance traffic

  • Thursday before Easter (1 April) will follow the Friday schedule
  • Good Friday (2 April) will follow the Sunday schedule, including several exceptions
  • Easter Monday (5 April) will follow the Sunday schedule
  • May Day (Sat, 1 May) will follow the Saturday schedule, including several exceptions
  • Ascension Day (Thu, 13 May) will follow the Sunday schedule, including several exceptions

VR's Commuter traffic

  • Good Friday (2 April) will follow the Sunday schedule.
  • Easter Monday (5 April) will follow the Sunday schedule.
  • The day before May Day (Fri, 30 April) will follow the Friday schedule (does not cause changes).
  • May Day (Sat, 1 May) will follow the Sunday schedule.
  • The day before Ascension Day (Wed, 12 May) will follow the Friday schedule.
  • Ascension Day (Thu, 13 May) will follow the Sunday schedule.
