The customer service point of Helsinki Central Railway Station is open on Midsummer Eve 19 June from 9 a.m.–1 p.m., closed on Midsummer Day 20 June and open again as normal on Sunday 21 June from 9 a.m.–7 p.m.

We are standardizing service fees for ticket sales starting from March 3rd

From March 3rd, we will implement a more uniform service fee for ticket sales. The changes will affect our ticket vending machines, commuter tickets sold at R-kioskis, and our phone service. We are piloting the use of body cameras in VR’s commuter traffic

Based on customer surveys, the feeling of safety in VR’s commuter train traffic is at a very good level and train travel is perceived as safe. According to the latest customer satisfaction survey carried out at the beginning of the year, for example, the feeling of safety on our commuter trains received a grade of 4.5 on a scale of 1–5. In order to prevent and resolve individual disruptions in VR’s commuter train traffic, conductors’ use of body cameras will be piloted during the spring.
