The Dixi travel centre offers easy and accessible routes and platforms are accessible by lift or escalator. The station bridge across the tracks serves as a waiting area. Services are available on the station deck, on the third floor of the travel centre. The accessible services at Tikkurila include:

The assistance point is located outside, on the street in front of Kotipizza, about five meters from the main entrance of the shopping center. The address of the assistance point is Ratatie 11 A. The area is covered.

To book assistance service, call VR customer service for accessible travel at 0800 188 822 (free of charge, service hours Mon–Fri 5am–10pm, Sat–Sun 7am–10pm) no later than 24 hours before your departure.

Tikkurila railway yard alteration work

At the Tikkurila railway yard, alteration work will be carried out on switches, tracks and platforms during 2024.

The track work will not lead to trains being replaced by buses, but trains may be delayed by 5–10 minutes.

Did you know that with a VR train ticket you can park at a discount price in certain parking areas in Tikkurila? There are three park-and-ride areas in Tikkurila station right next to the station.
